Leeton Shire Council - Expression of Interest (EOI) for Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC)
Leeton Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the roles of Independent Chairperson and Independent Members for Council’s Audit Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC).
Through this EOI process, Leeton Shire Council is looking to appoint suitable candidates with the appropriate skills and experience for the recently available roles on Council’s ARIC being one (1) Independent Chairperson and two (2) Independent Members.
Leeton Shire Council’s ARIC meets at least four (4) times a year, usually in April, July, September, and November which includes a special meeting to review Council’s financial statements. Committee members can attend the ARIC meetings via Zoom; however, Committee members are required to attend at least one (1) meeting in person, per year.
Leeton Shire Council will accept written Expressions of Interests (EOI) until 5.00pm on 15 April 2024.
Fees Payable
The fee payable to the ARIC Chairperson is $2,500 per meeting (ex-GST) and for the Independent Members the fee payable is $1,200 per meeting (ex-GST). These fees cover meeting preparation time and attendance. It does not include the cost of travel and expenses which will be reimbursed.
