Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. A willingness to work toward a Diploma would be seen as favourable.
- A current Working with Children Check is essential.
- Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary & Conditions:
- The position is classified as an Early Childhood Educator and will attract a salary in the range $29.42 to $32.96 per hour (Grade 6 in Council’s salary system), plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
- Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Documentation demonstrating COVID-19 vaccination is required.
