We are looking for applications from self-motivated and suitably qualified persons to fill this 7-month maternity leave position. The position is full-time – 70 hours per fortnight with a monthly rostered day off – commencing early December 2024.
The primary purpose of the position is to:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative and customer services support for the Director and operations department staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualifications in Office Administration with at least four year’s relevant work experience and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
- The successful applicant will be a customer-focused person with excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to relate well with the general public and fellow employees and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- They will have a sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications in a Windows environment.
- A Class C Driver Licence is also required.
Salary & Conditions
- A salary of between $35.96 to $40.28 per hour will be offered (depending on qualifications and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
- Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Functional Assessment which includes an alcohol and other drug screening.
