Notice – Footpath Closure & Reduced Speed Limit – McQuillan Road

Notice is hereby given for works undertaken by Council on behalf of Transport for NSW to relocate the McQuillan Road cycle path near Irrigation Way/Yanco Avenue.

Location

Duration

Work will start on Monday 24 March and will take two weeks to complete, weather permitting. Working hours are between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Motorists and pedestrians may notice workers and vehicles, traffic controllers and signage, reduced speed limit to 40 km/h, footpath closures, pedestrian and cyclist detours and noise from machinery and equipment.

Reason

Council on behalf of Transport for NSW is relocating the McQuillan Road cycle path crossing over Yanco Avenue at Leeton to improve safety for road and active transport users. To achieve this, Council will be extending the path on the western side of Irrigation Way for an additional 120 metres to the new cross-over point.
