Leeton Shire Council would like to wish you and your family a happy and safe Easter Holiday.

Please note the altered operating hours and public holiday closures for Council offices, facilities and services this Easter holiday period.

Council Administration Office, Depot & Library

Closed to the public on Good Friday (7 April 2023), Easter Saturday (8 April 2023), Easter Sunday (9 April 2023) and Easter Monday (10 April 2023). Contact: (02) 6953 0911.

Leeton Visitor Information Centre (VIC)

Open during the Easter long weekend. Contact: (02) 6953 6481.

  • Good Friday, 7 April - 10.00am - 4.00pm
  • Easter Saturday, 8 April - 10.00am - 12.00pm
  • Easter Sunday, 9 April - CLOSED
  • Easter Monday, 10 April - 10.00am - 4.00pm

Waste & Recycling Facilities

Leeton Landfill & Recycling Centre will be closed on Good Friday (7 April 2023). Normal opening hours apply on all the other days. Contact: (02) 6955 6384.

  • Easter Saturday, 8 April - 8.00am - 4.40pm
  • Easter Sunday, 9 April - 8.00am - 4.40pm
  • Easter Monday, 10 April - 8.00am - 4.40pm

Whitton Transfer Station. Normal opening hours apply on Easter Sunday, 9 April 2023. Contact: (02) 6955 6384.

Kerbside Waste and Recycling Collection Services will continue as per normal. There may be a slight variation in the pickup time however the collection will occur on the scheduled day. Please ensure all your bins are placed out the night before as collection may be ahead of schedule.

Leeton Museum & Art Gallery

LMAG will remain open during the Easter Holiday period for people to visit the Penny Paniz Acquisitive Arts Competition. Open Monday through Sunday, 10.00am to 3.00pm, including Easter Holidays. Contact: (02) 6953 0993.

Leeton Indoor Stadium

Open for private bookings only during the school holidays except for the public holidays. For enquiries or bookings please email recreation@leeton.nsw.gov.au.

Leeton Early Learning Centre & Vacation Care Program

Closed on Good Friday (7 April 2023), Easter Saturday (8 April 2023), Easter Sunday (9 April 2023) and Easter Monday (10 April 2023). For bookings or enquires for the Out of School Care or Vacation Care Program outside these dates please email outofschoolcare@leeton.nsw.gov.au or phone (02) 6953 5788 or 0447 854 340.

Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre

The Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre will be closed Easter Sunday (9 April) and Easter Monday (10 April). Contact: (02) 6953 0911.

Whitton Swimming Pool
