Community Strengthening Grants 2024/25 – Round 2 Now Open

Leeton Shire Council is pleased to advise that applications are now open for Round Two of Council’s Community Strengthening Grants program.
This funding is available to support community groups and organisations in their endeavours to establish, strengthen and/or implement projects which will benefit the Leeton Shire community.
There is approximately $19,500 available with grants capped at $2,000 each.
Applications for this grant will close at 5pm on Tuesday, 30 April 2025.

To assist community groups and organisations with their application and the new online form, Council is pleased to announce two free grant writing workshops held on Monday, 17 & 24 March at 5pm at the Leeton Shire Library. Drop-ins are welcome and no RSVPs are required.
Previous recipients include the Leeton Yanco Swimming Club for the purchase of stackable benches for marshalling area to be used for all race meets, Leeton Golf Club for the purchase of a computer and software for administration purposes, Nuranurra Support Services for the purchase of laptop and sporting equipment and Rotary Club of Leeton for the purchase of new replacement materials for the Rotunda in Rotary Park for landscaping and seats.
Other grant programs are also available to the Leeton Shire community and Council encourages those interested to read the guidelines thoroughly to check eligibility.
