Residents of Leeton Shire are encouraged to share their experiences of access to local health services through a health services survey conducted by Rural Doctors Network.
Key strategic documents that outline Council’s commitment to maintaining and building a strong, vibrant and sustainable future for the Leeton Shire community are now on public exhibition following endorsement by Council at its first Ordinary meeting in May.

Council awarded a Youth Development Grant of $250 to Kian Henman to assist him with the costs of attending the 2024 NSWCHS Swimming and Diving State Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from 13 – 15 May 2024.
Having placed 1st to 3rd in the Leeton High School Swimming Carnival, South West Zone Swimming Carnival and Riverina Swimming Carnival, Kian now has a chance to prove himself at the state championships in Sydney where he will be representing the Riverina. Council wishes Kian all the best and looks forward to receiving a report about his experience.
The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
