Footpaths
Leeton Shire Council has a Active Transport Plan (ATP)(PDF, 40MB), which provides a strategic approach to the installation of pathways and ramps to assist pedestrian, mobility aid users and cyclists to access community facilities safely and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
Council has standards for maintaining footpath as set out in its Active Transport Plan. Under this plan, footpaths around Leeton Shire are inspected regularly and repaired where necessary. This plans also guides where resources are applied.
Each year Council determines what footpaths will be specifically maintained or upgraded in the Annual Operational Plan.
If you see a footpath in need of repair, please lodge a service request by contacting Council on 02 6953 0911 or council@leeton.nsw.gov.au
